All SharePoint files and folders stored in Database instead of file system, If you want to see SharePoint folders/files, there is a tool called SharePoint Designer, use that to edit, add, delete some code in the files. [If you want to edit in visual studio, copy the code from SP designer and create a dummy file in Visual studio and paste the code there and edit. It won't run from Visual studio though..... All SharePoint files and folders stored in Database instead of file system, If you want to see SharePoint folders/files, there is a tool called SharePoint Designer, use that to edit, add, delete some code in the files.

Is there any way to get a Visual Studio 2005 VB.NET program to “see” and interact with SharePoint folders?

My program works with standard Intranet and hard disk based folders, but crashes immediately when it encounters SharePoint folders.

I have been stuck on this issue for more than 3 weeks now…I can find no solution.

Please help if you can.
